About

BIPOC PoP 2025 will bring together creatives, scholars, and industry leaders working in the comics, gaming, animation, and multimedia arts for 3 days to focus on strengthening community through the sharing of cutting edge creative critical knowledge making in the graphic storytelling arts.

BIPOC PoP 2022, 2023, 2024 helped build a creative critical space for making and strengthening community and creative critical action today and tomorrow in the comics, gaming, animation, & multimedia storytelling arts. BIPOC PoP 2025 continues that work.

Join us March 6th-8th at The University of Texas at Austin for BIPOC PoP 2025. We are excited to announce Jaime Hernandez, co-creator of Love and Rockets as our special guest.
