Writer and director Barry Jenkins (“Moonlight”) lifted the veil on “If Beale Street Could Talk,” his adaptation of James Baldwin’s novel, via a new official trailer today (September 20). In a departure from the previously released teaser, this beautiful new clip features intense dialogue that illustrates how the love shared by main characters Fonny (Stephan James, “Race”) and Tish (KiKi Layne, “Chicago Med”) brings their family together even as the world conspires to pull it apart.
