‘Kare Bags’: Young California Girl Creates, Supplies Toiletry Kits for Homeless People in Her Community

Little Khloe Thompson began her philanthropic initiative after encountering a number of homeless women on her way to school, Upworthy reports. She explained to the publication that she would ask her mom, “What can I do to help?” And from there, Khloe Kares was born.

Per her website, the mission of Khloe Kares is to serve others no matter how old or young you are, “proving that age has nothing to do with impacting the world.”

Khloe’s mission is to serve others no matter how old you are. Even at the young age of 8, Khloe is proving that her age has nothing to do with impacting the world. Khloe believes that she can help the world by giving to others, being a positive kid and shining the light that God gave her.

Khloe’s first project is Kare Bags. These bags are made and designed by Khloe and her grandma. The purpose of the Kare bags is to fill the bags up with items we use on a daily basis and give them to homeless women on the streets. Items include; soap, lotion, tooth brush and tooth paste, feminine products, socks etc. Instead of giving these items in a large plastic bag Khloe thought every women should have a nice sturdy bag to put their stuff in.

Khloe believes that each one of these bags is blessed with her love. She loves to be a blessing and she is thankful for all the support and all the donations.
