The Montgomery County Historical Commission moves to honor famed “Blues Man” Algernon “Texas” Alexander with a ‘Historical Marker’. Unbeknownst to many, Alexander was a notable “Blues Man” who played with the greats of his time and serves as a central figure in the development of famed Blues musicians such as Ray Charles who would reach heights that were considered for the musical genre.
